Gred D asked:

on cofd 3 the guy reloads a mp44 by cocking the gun and pulls a magazine out and puts in a fresh one and pushes the buttom then
cocks it again. In cofd 4 the guy reloads a mp44 by pulling out a clip and adds a new one and cocks it if the gun was fired until the magazine is empty. So which is it?

What happens when the last round in an open-bolt gun (ie Uzi) is expended? Will the bolt lock back or forward?

Rookie asked:

I know that in a closed-bolt weapon, the magazine will usually cause the bolt to lock back, making it slightly quicker to reload (since the gun will not have to be charged again). But with an open-bolt gun, will the bolt stay backwards, or is it nessesary to pull the slide backwards after reloading? Or does it vary depending the magazine used? I know that some magazines in closed-bolt weapons will not lock the bolt backwards.

what is the legality of big guns?

GUNSLINGER asked:

The “big gun” I am reffering to is the 20mm cannon built by Anzio ironworks. Also can you reload 20mm shells for less than you can buy them if you cast the bullets? What do you cast bullets out of? If the gun is legal can you hunt with it? I know our governent is strict on guns above .5 of an inch in diameter so can a normal citizen buy one? And finally Anzio claims that the max range of the gun is 5000 yards (2.84 miles). Can a 20mm really go that far?
I am not buying the gun anytime soon. I won’t hunt with it just curious if I could.

Guns on reloading?

whalelovers2000 asked:

During the process of loading, firing and re-loading, the firearm experiences several mechanical events that imparts markings to the projectiles and cartridge cases. Discuss what we typically can expect to find after close examination of these items.
