gone galt asked: plan on using .338 180gr ballistic tips sized down to .329 (8.36 mm)
thinking of using 38 gr of reloader 15
or 33gr of imr 4064. opinions?
seems like a handy little gun to use as a loaner.
someone always brings along their nephew or brother in law with no gun & they always like to play with the scope adjustments of any good rifle you loan them, or they use it to hold down a barb wire fence.

Jane asked: I’m a 5 ft 4 women 150lbs with a herniated disc in my lower back. So I need something with light to no recoil for home protection. Something I can shoot a few rounds before reloading. I have zero experience. please give me suggestions on all three guns. Thanks

Rick J asked: I reload. What do I need to be safe to big bear hunt, and white tail and have still meat to eat. It needs to be economical and be able shot it, not have it kick the snot out of me. I now shot a 300 WSM and love it, but don’t think it is enough for the great bear(grisely). If you give me a Cal. please give Max. and Min. bullet wt.s along with FPS.

CleoCATra asked: The gun, clip and box of bullets was stored in a plastic grocery bag for the last 25 years and hasn’t been shot. The clip was loaded but NOT IN the gun. Those bullets turned green so I removed them. Is it safe to reload with the bullets from the box (they look like new bullets) and is it safe to target shoot with the gun.????
It hasn’t been cleaned or used in about 26 years.

army_husbandky asked: just bought my first 38 special, I own other handguns and also reload my own ammo. According to the speer reloading manual, it only goes up to 125 gr. is this maybe the highest grain round that speer makes, or how big of a round can I use?

frozen asked: I overheard an employee at a gun shop saying that not many people reload anymore because the materials have become expensive, and it is not really worth it.
I was considering learning how. It would be for my 30-06 which I use in the fall for deer and moose, and maybe for my 410. for which the shells are pretty expensive.
All answers appreciated, but would be good to hear from someone in Canada.
I also live in Ontario..
I don’t really shoot a lot either, mostly during hunting season. I could save more than 1 dollar on 20 by going to Walmart instead of the gun shop!
