How do I remove staples from my staple gun?

When I reloaded I used the wrong ones (apparently) and now they won’t come out.
It’s just an old-fashioned manual style metal one.

    You did not say if it was air or electric powered..If its air mine has a plate that can be removed to unclog a jammed staple,,the electric one I have when one jams up I have to take a thin dental pick or o ring hook to get it out..hope this helps…
