It was a Glock 19, 9mm and a Walther P22, .22LR calibre. Effective and efficient for slaughtering a herd of sheep like they were.

The gun was a Glock automatic, it could be reloaded in about two seconds, fires about three rounds a second, they thought he had left campus after the two shootings.

I take Mr. Justs point about the Glock, but this guy spent about two or three weeks practicing at the local gun range before he did the shootings.

I think that you need to read up on this a bit. Metal detectors are expensive to buy and operate. I know that it is hard to put a price on a life but banks do not have metal detectors either do they. He did reload a few times. The first shots were fired about 2 hours before the rest.

By the way it is possible for a machine to fire a Glock 3 times per second but most people would have great difficulty getting 2 off. Not to mention accurately.

To my knowledge-at least by the photo’s I have seen in the media…I’de say the two handguns used were either Glock 19 or 22 models. They usually can be acquired in various calibres such as 9mm Parabellum or .41 special. They are amongst the highest rated handguns…for Magazine Capacity-or the amount of ‘cartridges or ammo’ that they can carry! They are a preferred choice by Law Enforcement Agencies for that reason alone! They are properly classified has a Semi-Automatic Pistol or Autoloading Handgun…this means that they require a repeated pull of the trigger to fire off the next shot! They do not need the hammer to be manually re-cocked ‘like revolvers’ because the slide mechanism does this during the firing process! The slide pushes back-during firing,re-cocks the hammer, ejects the empty cartridge and replaces it with a live cartidge in the chamber…all in two moves of the slide. Once backwards, and once forwards! They are relatively a well balanced Pistol, and are quite light and durable! But…they are really expensive too! I’m trying to figure out where some ‘twisted’ college kid, came up with the money to buy them! Unless of course, his parent’s were wealthy enough to give him that kind of cash to spend! As for your remaining Question’s-I don’t think we’ll fully know the truth for quite some time yet! So far…just about everything that I’ve read on the matter-has been from the Media, and I don’t put too much stock in anything that they have to say anyways! The investigation’s are still ongoing, and this usually means that the Law Enforcement still has alot of unanswered questions as well! Theerrander.
