Do spring airsoft revolvers require the gun to be recocked after every shot?

scuderia_ferrari_11387 asked:

As an owner of a spring airsoft pistol I understand that I’m required to recock the pistol after every shot.

Are spring airsoft revolvers the same, or are they “semi auto” in the fact that they can be continuously shot over and over without having to be recocked everytime (because of the nature of a revolver)?

Also, are there moon clips available for airsoft revolvers to make reloading easier?

Yea… you simply need to pull the hammer back (that’s the way it was with mine anyway…)
Really though… they aren’t worth it.
Mine came with a moon clip (one of those cheap ones… with a crap load of accessories, to make it look better)… but other than that… I haven’t seen them.
things may have changed though… I had mine like three years ago.

ALL spring guns need to be recocked in some way, so yes. Gas and electric guns do not need to be recocked every single time, but some do have a mock function for added realism.

revolvers? i don’t think so. i’ve had one before. just keep pulling on the trigger. when you pull the trigger, it’s going to be a bit heavy since you’re also pulling the hammer back. but if you want a lighter, faster and a more accurate shot, **** the hammer first and this will bring the trigger way back. then you can take your shot. as to what i remember, you can load 24 bbs in an airsoft revovler. 4 bbs per 1 bullet round.
